Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I now use darktable for photo editing and resize but having an online option is a plus.

I was using the picture compressor tool you mentioned on your page here: blog.piterdias.com/2010/01/04/building-a-batch-photo-resizer/ and would like to share with you a better tool that I found.
While faststone.org/FSResizerDetail.htm does a good job, it requires you to download the app to your computer.
After some exploring, I found this tool and I wanted to suggest you show it as well. https://www.websiteplanet.com/webtools/imagecompressor/,
This is a free online tool that allows you to compress pictures that are up to 50 MB in size both in jpeg and in png format!
